Feel free to go here to see a blog I posted about something I found interesting to me, especially since I'm struggling with it right now. :)
Tue, Dec. 27th, 2005, 03:07 am
So I now really only update this when I have something that I feel is important. And this is important to me...
Two days ago, on Christmas, I saw a movie that, simply put... blew me away. The story, the cinematography, everything. Absolutely beautiful.

Go see Brokeback Mountain.
DAVID I love you. Me so proud! :)
Thu, Dec. 8th, 2005, 11:38 pm Finals...
...3 down, 1 to go...and a paper rewrite to turn in...both @ 8AM tomorrow morning. Doing all this with a wicked cough. Not to victimize myself or anything...we're ALL going through it. Just wanted to update. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your Livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to. 1. My Humps by Black Eyed Peas 2. Better Days by Goo Goo Dolls 3. It Don't Have to Change by John Legend 4. Geek in the Pink by Jason Mraz 5. Hold Me by Michael Jackson (I'll always love that one!) 6. Song For a Friend by Jason Mraz 7. Right to Be Wrong by Joss Stone I tag: 1. Blair K. 2. Danielle 3. Rachel H. 4. Pat 5. Stacy K. 6. Shawn 7. Katai Go tagging...wahoo. :) P.S. Chocolate Mint M&Ms...addicting...thank you Peggy.
That's all. Maybe sometime soon I'll post something of more substance here. We'll see.
Sun, Oct. 30th, 2005, 07:45 am Halloween!
So I don't use LJ all that much anymore (thanks a bunch, MySpace)...but I thought I'd post some pictures here for the fun of it. Yes? Ok.

Romantic, hopeful, and composed. You are the Sonnet. Get it? Composed?
Sonnets want Love and have high ideals about it. They're conscientious people, caring & careful. You yourself have deep convictions, and you devote a lot of thought to romance and what it should be. This will frighten away most potential mates, but that's okay, because you're very choosy with your affections anyway. You'd absolutely refuse to date someone dumber than you, for instance.
Your exact opposite: Genghis Khunt
 Random Brutal Sex Master
| Lovers who share your idealized perspective, or who are at least willing to totally throw themselves into a relationship, will be very, very happy with you. And you with them. You're already selfless and compassionate, and with the right partner, there's no doubt you can be sensual, even adventurously so.
You probably have lots of female friends, and they have a special soft spot for you. Babies do, too, at the tippy-top of their baby skulls.
ALWAYS AVOID: The 5-Night Stand, The False Messiah, The Hornivore, The Last Man on Earth

Clear your mind... ...take a deep breath... ...let all the negative out... ...and picture a big, black hole. Nothingness. Relax. It's OKAY. (repeat as needed) :)

I'm here, in my apartment, in my room. Crazy stuff. Things are good. I am good. I love it here. I realize I may sound a bit monotone, what with all the abrupt sentences and all, but that is merely because I am really tired (yay for waking up at ten to eight this morning). Not sure why I posted this. I guess just to say what I started out saying: that I'm here, all is well, and apartment life kicks ass. Ok, time for some pineapple coconut juice (looove Trader Joe's), then bed. ;)
Thu, Sep. 15th, 2005, 03:26 pm Apartment!!!
OK.
The apartment (MY apartment...can't get over that whole idea) is
finally ready. Kate and Laura moved in last week. Katie
moves in tomorrow. I move in Saturday. SO excited!
It's a crazy thing...living on your own. And it's all really
happening! I've been down there a few times to help assemble
furniture, unpack stuff, etc. And I love it more and more every
time I'm there. So here's my favorite part...I took before and
after pictures (forgive the bluriness of some of the before
pictures...I was just learning to use my new camera) of pretty much
every room (there aren't many rooms though, haha). And for those
of you who are interested, here they are! Enjoy.
P.S. Why this whole picture thing makes me so giddy and excited, I'll never really know.

Every year for 39 years, the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon has been raising money for the service and research programs of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. "An “interactive” show long before the computer age popularized the term, the Telethon’s drama comes from the ever-increasing fund-raising total posted on the tote board — by hand in 1966, now electronically. Jerry’s goal of raising “one dollar more” than the previous year’s amount has been more than met almost every year, thanks to the generosity and compassion of the American public. Last year’s record total was $60.5 million."-mdausa.org/telethon/ This year, the MDA Telethon is serving two purposes: as always, it will raise funds for muscular dystrophy. However, due to the devastating consequences of Hurricane Katrina, much of the proceeds will go towards helping victims of the hurricane. PLEASE, find it in your heart to make a donation or at the very least watch the few remaining hours of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Go to http://www.mdausa.org/telethon/TVStationListings.pdf to find your station. Even when the telethon ends, you can STILL make your contribution. PHONE: 1-800-FIGHTMD (344-4863) SNAIL MAIL (thru internet): www.mdausa.org/donate/snailmail.html INTERNET: https://secure.mdausa.org/Gift.aspxPlease pass this on so more and more people know that EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS. Ok, SO...
Janie left today. I miss her already. No, seriously.
A bunch of people are gone already, which kinda sucks, but at the same
time, I now realize from a year's worth of experience that the people
you love will stay in your life, and that not much changes in that
respect. So this was much easier than last time, although still
not fun.
Camp ended Friday. Translation? I am now a free
woman! Hahaha...I'm enjoying sleeping late, going to the gym and
being with people I wanna be with, among other things.
Ahh...having no life is bliss.
I really want to see The Skeleton Key today. It looks good.
Oo, I got a new camera! It's really small (and cheap!) and takes
pretty good pictures. So hooray for that. And while we're
on that topic, here are some pictures, because this is what I do.

Missing you always Drew.
Note to self: must see each other. Soon.
It's times like this that I wish I could just freeze time; you know...keep this amazing day in a little box, to open and remember whenever I am feeling down. This trip was just wonderful. Pics...click below. :) http://community.webshots.com/user/abd1350

After lots of catching up and talking and laughing and whatnot, I feel I have a new outlook on many different things.
P.S. This is a very good thing. Hopefully it will last. :)
More update-ing later...maybe.
I got a job! Counselor (for the Ducklings!) @ Cali Camp.
Start Tuesday. Home every day at 4, very nice. Ahh, goodbye
unemployment. :)
I wish I had more interesting things to say. Oh well.
Fourth of July tomorrow! What's everyone doing?
Warning: lots of pictures.
( Summer so far... )
